Advice for travellers

Norovirus infection is generally short-lived, causing nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea. However, these symptoms can lead to more serious complications among the sick, young children, and the elderly, which makes outbreaks on cruise ships, in aged care facilities and hospitals of particular concern.
