Pandemic hampers malaria initiatives

Malaria cases reported last year were already 50,000 higher than for 2018 (greatest burden in Binga, Gokwe North, Beitbridge, Hwange, Mbire, Rushinga, Mudzi, Nyanga, Mutasa and Chimhanimhani), and are likely to rise again this year due to disruptions to control programs during the pandemic.
