THE FIRST vaccine for Travellers’ diarrhoea (TD) is undergoing human trials in India and Latin America.
Administered by a painless skin patch, the vaccine will be welcomed by the estimated 10 million travellers worldwide who contract TD while overseas each year.
More patch vaccines are also on the way, including one to combat the next generation of influenza.
